CANIS Lab Receives Funding from Competitive NSF CIVIC Innovation Competition

Our Digital Backpack project just received Stage 1 funding from the NSF CIVIC Innovation Program. This highly competitive program promotes community-driven research that helps communities operate with more resilience. We are partnering with STAR School, a K-8 school that serves a large number of students on Navajo Nation.
