Congratulations to CANIS Lab Members Spring 2020!

Spring 2020 was one for the books--we (like everyone else in the world) had to rapidly shift to an online learning mode. Nevertheless, several CANIS students really sparkled as we celebrated the end of the year.

SHELBY HAGEMANN (sophomore) received the Jean Schuler Research Mini Grant and Hooper Undergraduate Research Award for her research proposal that expands our work investigating the design of behavioral mHealth systems.

ZANE FINK (senior) was named a runner-up recipient of the Keim Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research. He also received a funded GRA position as a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne.

Congratulations to all CANIS Lab members for their excellent work this year and for being resilient in an unprecedented situation! Proud of you!
