LoRaX: Extending the Reach of Internet Connectivity

LoRaX seeks to repurpose and utilize low-power wide-area wireless networking technologies to extend access to different Internet-based applications to communities living in remote areas with no network connectivity. As part of this project, we are designing a user interface (UI) for a smartphone application that would take advantage of Low-powered Radio (LoRa) technology to extend Internet connectivity.

We are looking for participants who would like to test the UI to help us evaluate the user-friendliness of our prototype. By participating, a test user will be given a short briefing on the project and a set of tasks to complete using the various components of the UI. To be COVID-19 safe, this entire process (briefing, task completion, and feedback) will be conducted over Zoom video conferencing. We are looking for anyone who is 18 years of age or older and familiar with using smartphone applications.
